Against my better judgement because of a previous 'iffy' encounter about a rock embedded in a tire, had my car towed there 1 night after hrs. Thomas called early n said it was oil related problems but not that bad and quoted $1193. He then said he'd throw in some spark plugs too. Next day total price jumped up $400 with Bart (the boss) telling me that I couldn't even think that the spark plugs, and labor would be free. After a heated back and forth Bart agreed to give it to me but when I went in to pay for it, the total bill was increased by $100 (probably to cover cost of spark plugs)and proceeded to lie and say I misheard the original estimate?!? Now I am a doctor, a scientist, and an expert witness for the state and my hearing/memory is just fine. Beware of Thomas...That's OK Bart and Thomas, as am going to put this encounter in our church bulletin this week as many members use this repair shop and I cannot, with a clear conscience, let referrals continue for the elderly members
Completely false. Your were initially quoted 1293.00 for the many various issues we found. You then proceeded to tell me the vehicle had never had a tune up. At 183000 miles that would mean the vehicle would be well past due so I did say I could add a tune up to it which you agreed never once was it mentioned they were free. When they're free to us we'll make them free to all. When given the initial quote you were given a price of 1293 before tax. We ended up giving you the plugs to cover any misunderstanding you may of had along with another 10%off to ease the situation. When talking business and numbers it really should behoove you to thoroughly pay attention to what's being said. Had you done this the air would be clear and all well. Your still applied "increase" was the tax. Which we all have to pay and your quote reflected the before tax amount which we stated to you. Have a great day
