I took my daughter’s jeep in for an oil change and diagnostic because the check engine light was on. They told me that I had a number of problems “that were common to that model jeep” and it was going to cost $2500 for all of the repairs. I took the car to another mechanic who did all of the “recommended repairs” for $745. They also failed to put the engine cover back on (I had to pick it up 3 days later, they didn’t ever call me) and my mechanic told me they failed to put a number of parts back into place before a left. I would never take a vehicle to this place.
We appreciate your concern however, we never quoted you at 2500 for your repair. You were just over 1600 for the recommended repairs and a couple other services that were done on that day and that is a reflection of using quality original equipment parts not cheap after market which is what you received at the price you paid. We choose quality parts with repairs done by highly skilled quality technicians. As far as the engine cover, An honest mistake. Jeeps are very common and our guys didn't know who to call but it was kept to return and we do apologize for that. Speaking to other things left off our not in place, We are not responsible for that and that is a false statement. We tend to be better than that. Best of luck to you.
